Guerrilla Galleries

A new initiative is being set up in the District by St Albans District Council and Leisure Connection that aims to get locally produced professional paintings, sculptures and other types of visual art work out on public display during the St Albans Festival and other periods during the year.

The launch exhibition was held in May on the first floor of the Maltings Shopping Centre and displayed a selection of work by students from Townsend C of E school.

During the Festival period, there will be 'Guerrilla Galleries' popping up in various businesses and unexpected places throughout the District, so keep a look out!
